Who are we?
EXPOsOMICS is a collaborative project with a multinational team that aims to predict individual disease risk related to the environment, by developing a new approach to environmental exposure and health assessment during critical periods of life.
Our Partners
The EXPOsOMICS consortium brings together international experts in exposure assessment, epidemiology and omic technologies from 13 research centres both in Europe and the United States.
Our Goals
EXPOsOMICS will lead to the formulation of a new concept of integrated exposure assessment at the individual level, providing a greater understanding of the effect of combined multiple environmental pollutants on health.
The ultimate goal of EXPOsOMICS is to reduce uncertainties in risk assessment when estimating burden of disease.
